There is nothing like a new snowfall to make Christmas really come life, especially in our small town of Oak Ridge. I took the opportunity of an early December snowfall to capture some winter images of the Old Mill of Guilford. The red of the wheel, the green of the evergreen trees and all of the white snow is just the recipe for a very Merry Christmas. Robby Bryant Photography wishes all of you a very safe, happy and joyous Merry Christmas.
We took an extended weekend trip to Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, SC to take in the eclipse and some history. Boone Hall Plantation was once home to more than 300 slaves and the slave houses and structures they built are still visible today. The smoke house is the oldest structure still on the property and was hand built by slaves using bricks made on the plantation more than 250 years ago.
My family and I, along with 3 other families, just returned from a wonderful week vacationing in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Grace Bay beach, where we stayed, was recently voted the number one beach in the world, and after staying there I understand why. Amazing emerald green waters lap against pinkish white sand while sea birds fly over head hunting for the occasional fish to eat. Coupled with warm temperatures and an ever present breeze these islands are a beach lover and photographers paradise. I have included a small gallery of some of the images I was able to capture on our trip in the Outdoors section of the website.
